ONE DIRECTION

I’ve never been a fan of boybands since Westlife, *NSync and Backstreet Boys. One Direction caught my attention (hey, it rhymes!) when one of my internet friends here on tumblr  professed her undying love for Harry Styles. Curiosity leading me on, I searched the tag Harry Styles and learned that he’s part of this X Factor boyband finalist called One Direction. I must admit though that I was not that hooked yet with the fandom by that time. One day while trolling on youtube, I came across 1D videos and enjoyed their cover of Forever Young. I listened to the rest of their songs: their X Factor performances and the tracks included in their Up All Night album. I watched their video diaries and eventually the whole season of X Factor during their stint in it (which is why I’m also in love with Rebecca Ferguson, Cher Lloyd and Matt Cardle). Then, I FOUND myself infected with the 1D hype and hated Louis Walsh for commenting that watching the boys perform felt like 5 Justin Biebers were on stage. Come on, these 5 British-Irish young lads are waaaay better singers than the Biebs. I think I’ve expressed my unpopular opinion about the 1D and Biebs comparison in one of my many previous posts. Trust me. Trust my humble, honest and reliable opinion. These 5 dapper boys are far more talented and far more worth the attention than the boy who stole Ariel’s voice.

These boys have come so far and improved a lot ever since joining X Factor. Siriusly, they’re worth the attention. So come on and give ‘em a shot!
